In Tuscany they are 110 the new positives Covid-19 reported in the last twenty-four hours, of which 61 were identified in the course of the screening for suspected diagnosis, another 49 from detection activities. The daily bulletin issued by the Region, as usual, compiles the data verified at 12 noon today, Saturday, September 26, based on requests from the National Civil Protection and regarding the progress of the epidemic in Tuscany. Since the beginning of the emergency, 14,465 cases of positivity for Coronavirus have been confirmed. Of these, 9,981 (or 69% percent) are still healed people, 1,157 have died.
In total, there are currently 3,327 patients. However, only 108 are hospitalized in Covid wards, 3 less than yesterday, 24 of these are in intensive care (stable). The rest are quarantined at home, as they have mild or even asymptomatic symptoms.
The average age of 110 cases today (56 Central Asl, 35 North West, and 18 South East) is 42 years approximately (15% are under 20 years old, 28% between 20 and 39, 38% between 40 and 59, 15% between 60 and 79, 4% are 80 years or older) and, to the extent that with respect to the states clinical trials, 65% were asymptomatic and 20% pauci-symptomatic. Four cases can be linked to returns from abroad. 41% of the cases is a contact linked to a previous case.
According to the province of residence or domicile, from February to today, 4,210 cases were reported in Florence (42 more than yesterday), 855 in Prato (9 more), 1,009 in Pistoia (5 more), 1,519 in Massa (12 more), 1,788 in Lucca (4 more), 1,492 to Pisa (14 more), 709 in Livorno (5 more), 1,136 in Arezzo (10 more), 606 in Siena (4 more), 595 in Grosseto (5 more). There are 546 positive cases reported in Tuscany by residents of other regions.
The cases in the province of Pisa ASL registered: Cascina 2, Fauglia 1, Pisa 7, Casciana Terme Lari 1, Pontedera 2, Santa Maria a Monte 1.
If 3,219 are positive people in isolation at home (69 more than yesterday, plus 2.2%), another 6,342 (increased by 442 in the last twenty-four, plus 7.5%) are people, also isolated, under active surveillance for having had contact with infected people (Asl Centro 2,095, Northwest 3,395, Southeast 852).
Of the 9,981 people cured (43 more than yesterday, plus 0.4%), 224 are clinically (stable compared to yesterday), that is, they were asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection, while 9,757 (43 more than yesterday) until yesterday, plus 0.4%) have healed in all aspects, the so-called viral cures, with a double negative swab.
