Double homicide: funeral of Santis’ young referee in Lecce – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – LECCE, SEPTEMBER 26 – The funeral of Daniele De Santis de Salento began in the cathedral of Lecce on the night of September 21 with his girlfriend stabbed in the buildings where they lived. The funeral of the girl, Eleonora Manta, will be held in the afternoon in Seclì (Lecce) her hometown.

The 33-year-old’s coffin made its way between two wings of young aspiring career directors from the Lecce section to which Daniele belonged. They wear a white T-shirt with the image of Daniele busy in a field printed with the words: “There is everything here to say that you are there. Have a good trip and then rest if you can.”

The funeral ceremony is officiated by the Archbishop of Lecce, Monsignor Domenico Seccia. There are numerous representatives of the referee association led by Marcello Nicchi, national president of Aia, Danilo Giannoccaro and Luigi Nasca, members of the series A referee commission, Antonio D’Amato referee designating series C and Paolo Prato president of Aia Lecce.

The entrance to the cathedral is prohibited to journalists and cameramen at the request of the family. (HANDLE).
