Viterbo – We received and published – Four confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity were reported, at 11 am, by the Molecular Genetics section of Belcolle to the Coronavirus Operational Team of the ASL of Viterbo.
The latest positive reports are linked to swabs made to citizens residing or domiciled in the following municipalities: two in Viterbo, one in Caprarola and one in Civita Castellana.
All cases today have an epidemiological link with previously verified cases and all are convalescing in their own home.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 629 of which 40 are the cases verified in non-ASL structures.
The ASL of Viterbo, with great regret, reports the death, which occurred in the last 24 hours, of an 85-year-old citizen, resident in the municipality of Acquapendente, hospitalized for weeks in the department of infectious diseases of Belcolle, with a clinical picture already complex.
Today the Covid-19 recovery of six patients was communicated to the institutionally competent subjects, having received the report of negativity compared to two swabs performed consecutively within a few days.
The negative people are residents or domiciled in the following municipalities: two in Monte Romano, one in Viterbo, one in Acquapendente, one in Fabrica di Roma, one in Tarquinia.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus, three are hospitalized in the infectious diseases department, three are hospitalized in an additional Asl health center, 100 are convalescing at home. The number of negative people rises to 496, 27 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the beginning of the Covid emergency, 27 thousand 585 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 227 in the last 24 hours. To date, 450 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 5,308 have completed the isolation period.
The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. As of yesterday the analysis laboratories of Belcolle and Civita Castellana reported 9,239 serological tests. Of these, 136 gave positive results, with a prevalence rate of 1.47%.
