They have implemented this form of extreme protest four construction workers, that yesterday, around 1:00 p.m., he got on the machinery present at the work in via Bassini, staying then at an altitude of 28 meters until the afternoon, to publicize what in his opinion was an irregular situation. The four came to Vigasio from Bologna – from another work of the company that is carrying out the works of the school complex, is the Pro.lav de Formia – to mount their protest.
“The workers complained about the non-payment of around 1500-2000 euros each,” explains Davide Di Gaetano from CGIL Verona. “Now we are going to see this”, he adds, “but considering that the owner of the company they work for explains that he has paid ordinary salaries, it seems that they refer to overtime.”
Di Gaetano himself, who spoke with the workers for a long time proposing some solutions, explains that the workers acted independently and that in the case of situations like the one they complain, it is usually possible to find the key to the problem in a simpler, acting legally.
The fact is that yesterday spent the whole day of discussions, during which the owner of the company made some economic proposals. Only every 18.30 the workers accepted the checks the contractor had signed, finally deciding to get back on the ground.
