COSENZA – In the last 24 hours there are other 19 new positives (yesterday there were 24, while two days ago 12) which brings the total number of cases since the beginning of the epidemic in our region to 1,887, between victims and cured. The number of swabs tested continues to increase: they are 1893 more compared to yesterday, with the total of tests analyzed reaching 187,925. Regarding current infections, in the province of Cosenza there are 9 new cases, of which 3 attributable to the well-known outbreak of Corigliano Rossano and 3 attributable to the well-known Cosenza outbreak and resident in the Valle Crati district. In this sense, it rises to 6 the number of infections linked to the positive case in a restaurant between Rende and Cosenza and two new cases a Montalto Uffugo which raises the positive aspects to 12. The other cases today in the province of Cosenza are related to contact with a case registered in another region, a migrant and a detection case with ongoing investigation. Also in Cosenza, at the Annunziata hospital, a still positive subject was discharged and placed at home, while hospitalized a new patient who was initially in home isolation. The other infections in Calabria recorded by the health department bulletin come from the Catanzaro area (4 cases attributable to a known outbreak), from the Vibo Valentia province and from Crotone.
The numbers of contagion in Calabria
Analyzing the data and figures on contagion in Calabria, including residents and people from outside the region, the number of positives currently continues to increase: they are 603, 15 more than yesterday’s figure.
