Viterbo – “Barracks in via Cassia, firefighters forced to enter a construction site”. Enrico Mattiacci of the Usb Fire Brigade writes this in a note, speaking of an “unsustainable situation”.
“The headquarters, which was due to be completed shortly,” explains Mattiacci, “remains a construction site for more than two-thirds, which forces firefighters to constantly come and go between the offices, since administrative offices, dining room and headquarters are divided operational ”.
Mattiacci also said that “recent rains have caused the false ceiling of the only usable wing to collapse, purely by chance without hitting anyone. Mattiacci attacks: “The department leaders are completely disinterested in the situation, so much so that the work has been stopped for many months, regardless of Covid, and there is no solution in sight. The Fire Brigade of the USB urges the institutional and political bodies to pressure to resolve a situation that is no longer acceptable in a developed country ”.
Finally the announcement: “Given the lack of response to the reports made, the agency is willing to deploy all forms of agitation necessary.”
