Prosecutor of the Italian Football Federation opened an investigation to shed light on the history of the alleged player-supported “sham” exam Luis Suarez in Perugia to acquire Italian citizenship. The news is reported by Ansa.
The chief prosecutor of the Football Federation, Giuseppe Chinè, also asked the acts of investigation of the Ordinary Judicial Power of Perugia to verify any violation of the Code of Sports Justice and decide on possible sanctions.
For now, neither Luis Suárez nor Juventus are under investigation in the investigation stemming from the Italian exam held last Thursday by the Pistolero at the University of Perugia, with a view to a possible transfer to the Juventus club (then disappeared due to lack of time).
According to Turin filters, Juventus is calm because the alleged relations with the university would have been exclusively informative character. Furthermore, the Juventus club is not responsible for organizing Suárez’s trip.
