Always a sign of continuity: outgoing mayor Alessandro Andreatta, also from the center left, received Ianeselli at Palazzo Geremia. In Macerata victory for Sandro Parcaroli of the center-right, with 52.3%. He defeated Narciso Ricotta (center left), stopped at 33%.

In Arezzo, on the other hand, the center-right candidate, Alessandro Ghinelli, almost won in the first round, stopping at 47%, while the challenger, Luciano Ralli (center left), did not exceed 35.3%. A similar situation in Lecco, with Giuseppe Ciresa (center-right) stopping one step away from victory (48.7%), beating Mauro Gattinoni (center-left) by 41.7%.
