Today an operational meeting was held in which the Municipality, the ASP and the Regional Civil Protection participated, during which, following what was decided yesterday in the prefecture, the assistance plan was drawn up for all those present. within the “red areas” identified by the President of the Region in the four mission structures, as well as for the containment of contagion. First, it emerged that the total number of people present in the structures is lower than previously reported, taking into account the fact that many of the guests are currently engaged in seasonal jobs in the field. Likewise, the incidence rate of positive cases is lower, which currently stands at around 30% of those already processed. Only in one of the reception structures, in particular that of via dei Decollati, is there a criticality due to the high number of guests (around 200) while the others, in which a total of 7 positive cases have been registered, already They have ‘Isolation of the latter and transfer to health establishments for those who need specialized assistance. In Via Decollati, a technical inspection was carried out by the Regional Civil Protection, the ASP and the Municipality to identify the logistical and structural methods that guarantee a separation between the people who tested negative and positive for hyssop. But today a small riot also broke out at the launch of the Biagio Conte mission. Guests trapped in the red zone since Saturday threw the food received from Caritas for lunch at riot police and set fire to piles of garbage piled up in a disused part of the mission. They ask to go out, they ask to understand what is happening. Some who have had a negative swab ask to be separated from those who have been infected with the coronavirus.
