Another patient admitted to intensive care
CAGLIARI. There are 53 new cases of Covid in Sardinia, 31 detected through detection activities and 22 due to suspected diagnosis. The total number of positive cases of Covid-19 verified in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency amounted to 3,356. The number of victims remains unchanged, 143 in total.
In total, 173,660 swabs were performed, an increase of 2,183 tests compared to the last update. On the other hand, currently 96 patients are hospitalized in non-intensive wards (two less than yesterday), while 21 (+1) patients are in intensive care. There are 1,606 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 1,483 (+44) recovered patients, plus another 7 clinically recovered.
In the territory, of the 3,356 positive cases verified in total, 536 (+5) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 333 (+8) in southern Sardinia, 238 (+7) in Oristano, 360 (+22 ) in Nuoro, 1,889 (+11) in Sassari.
