Mario Casillo is the winner of the regional elections in Campania as regards the candidates for the regional council. The outgoing director of the Democratic Party from Boscoreale (Naples) is confirmed in the first place among the most voted as in 2015 when he obtained 31,307 votes, but this time he ruins it: when there are few sections left at the end of the ballot he already has 41,450 preferences.

Casillo dominates the list of the Naples electoral district ahead of Loredana Raia, who currently has 26,626 preferences, and Bruna Fiola with 22,183. Among the most voted also the former parliamentarian Massimiliano Manfredi, who exceeds 18,000 votes, while the leader Giordana Mobilio reaches almost 10,000 votes. In the Naples electoral district, the second list of De Luca’s coalition is De Luca’s president, who takes home 15.2% and leads outgoing Education Councilor Lucia Fortini with 10,248 votes, ahead by Vittoria Lettieri and Carmine Mocerino, both more than ten thousand preferences.

The result of Italia Viva, the third list of the coalition, is excellent, while Francesco Emilio Borrelli is full of votes on the Green Europe list, taking home 15,440 votes. Among the most voted were Tommaso Casillo and Giovanni Porcelli from Campania Libera, both with almost 12,000 preferences. In the rest of the provinces, the result of Salerno stands out, where the Democratic Party is the first list of the coalition with 16.72%, distancing itself from President DeLuca’s list by 10.20%.
