Look for the encore Michele Emiliano, a longtime administrator, supported by a long list of parties, led by the Democratic Party, and civic and non-center-left lists (up to 14). A poster that, however, does not include Italia Viva.

Insidious challenger that is Raffaele Fitto, who already held the post of governor in Puglia from 2000 to 2005. Behind him, the entire center-right – Lega, Fratelli d’Italia, Forza Italia, plus Unione di Centro-Nuovo PSI – and the list La Puglia Domani.

The 5 Star Movement, which here has not reached an agreement with the Democratic Party to support a single candidate, is located Antonella Laricchia, elected on the ballot in the ‘regional’ of the grillini.

A thorn in Emiliano’s side could be Ivan Scalfarotto, Undersecretary of the Conte government who has always been involved in LGBT politics: he is Renzian’s candidate and runs alone, also supported by + Europa and Futuro Verde.

The starting grid is completed with Pierfranco bruni, who will run for the Fiamma Tricolore; Nicola Cesaria, from Brindisi and professor of physical education, with the list to the left of the Constitution of the Work Environment; Mario Conca, former regional councilor of M5S (list of citizens of Apulia-President of Conca) and Andrea D’Agosto (Reconquest Italy).
