In Veneto, Luca Zaia, outgoing governor, who has reached his third term, has won: the percentages of his victory are exceptional, since Zaia obtained 76.8 percent of the votes. In Liguria, the outgoing governor, Giovanni Toti, of the center-right, won with 56.13 percent of the votes: 383 thousand preferences in total. Ferruccio Sansa, supported by the center-left, historically very strong in the Region, obtained almost 120,000 fewer votes: 38.9 percent of the total.

In Valle d’Aosta, voting begins on Tuesday morning, as in municipal elections.
