Drama to Rome at night. A robber was killed and a carabiniere was injured in Rome, in the district of Eur, during an attempted robbery in a building. Last night, in via Paolo Di Dono, the Carabinieri of the Núcleo Radiomóvil intervened in a building destined for offices, in the presence of suspicious persons reported.
Two soldiers entered the courtyard of the condominium, tried to block a stranger, who hit one of the two Carabinieri in the chest with a screwdriver. The gesture determined the reaction of the other carabiniere who has exploded 2 shots with the service pistol in the direction of the attacker, fatally hitting him.
The wounded soldier was transferred to the Sant’Eugenio hospital for the treatment of the case, while the accomplice, taking advantage of the excitement of the moment, managed to disappear. Identification of the victim is in progress. Weapon with a firearm shot.
