Motogp: Emilia; Vinales wins, then Mir and Espargarò – Moto

Spanish Yamaha rider Maverick Vinales won the Emilia Romagna and Rimini Riviera Moto GP, ahead of Briton Joan Mir on Suzuki and Spaniard Espargarò at the finish. Bad for the Italians, Valentino Rossi and Francesco Bagnaia retired for a long time leading the race. Dovizioso is eighth, then Morbidelli and Petrucci. Yamaha Petronas Frenchman Fabio Quartararo finished third at the finish line, but a penalty relegated him to fourth place. Fifth place went to Portuguese Oliveira, then Japanese Honda Nakagami, then Alex Márquez. In eighth place after an uphill race was Andrea Dovizioso, then Franco Morbidelli and Danilo Petrucci to close the top ten. In the world championship classification, Andrea Dovizioso remains first with 84 points, followed by 83 by Viñales and Quartararo, Mir fourth with 80 points.
