It happened this morning in the Cacciola camp in Scandiano. Thirteen pellets hit a 62-year-old man, also in the temple and near the heart. His story
SCANDIANO (Reggio Emilia) – He was shot while pruning his vineyard, perhaps mistaking it for prey or not seeing it at all. A 62-year-old man is miraculously alive who was wounded this morning in the Cacciola field by shots from a hunter, then escaped without even providing help. Thirteen shots, one of them to the temple. Doctors were able to safely remove only one. Fortunately, no one caused serious injuries and within hours of the incident the man returned home, discharged from the Santa Maria Nuova emergency room. It all happened this morning at 8.30 in the area of the old schools. “I was working in the vineyard, with the radio on – he says – when I heard the barking of the dogs and felt the presence of someone without being able to see it. After a few minutes I felt the blow and started to bleed everywhere, even in the head and chest, near the heart ”.
The man screamed and called for help, but no one came near. And no one saw, looking around. With difficulty, he returned to his house, which is just over 50 meters away, calling for his son who was the first to rescue him. The police from the Casalgrande station immediately arrived at the scene, then the man completed the complaint at the barracks, to Lieutenant Scandiano. Now it will be up to the military to try to identify who shot. “With bad luck I feel lucky – your comment – they could have hurt me much more seriously, or hit my grandchildren who are often here to play. You can’t shoot so blind. I hope the carabinieri can find the culprit. “ (dav.b.)
