Valentino Rossi crashed during the second lap of the 2020 Emilia Romagna GP, seventh stage of the MotoGP World Championship that took place at the Misano circuit. The Doctor got off to a good start and was battling for fifth position, with concrete chances to fight for the podium at the track named after the late Marco Simoncelli.
