The Prevention Department in consideration of the cases that have arisen in recent days in the province of Arezzo, Grosseto and Siena has intensified the activity of tracing close contacts. This activity has highlighted, so far, 11 contacts for the Arezzo cases, 10 contacts for the Grosseto cases, 38 contacts for the Siena cases who have already been immediately placed in solitary confinement.
At this time, 2,203 people from the Local Health Authority of the Southeast of Tuscany are already in home isolation, either because they are a known contact or because they come from other countries.
There are 10 hospitalized at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases at the Misericordia Hospital in Grosseto, 11 at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases and three in Intensive Care at the Hospital San Donato in Arezzo.
The identification of the cases and the tracing of the contacts was possible by performing 2,556 swabs.
