The same victims of the attack report it on Facebook: “Was youn homophobic attack, which began with insults and mocking phrases for a kiss that we exchanged while walking near the Piazza delle Erbe – they write in a post – And for that kiss they insulted us and some of our friends, they threw us to the ground, we led to kicks and punches, a friend who had stood in the middle to defend us broke with a glass on his head, forcing him to be rescued by the ambulance with the result of 5 points».
Local police and carabinieri intervened on the spot and a complaint was subsequently filed.

«The violent and hateful phrases that the attackers shouted – we read in the post – had a clear homophobic message towards us, and are a symptom of ignorance and hatred towards different people.».
