La Spezia, September 18, 2020 – There are 158 new coronavirus positives in Liguria. Of these, 88 are in La Spezia and its province, an area that has been experiencing a sharp increase in infections for several days. Which also led authorities to a series of measures on masks and schools, with the institutes to be resumed. There are 88 new cases of coronavirus in the Spezia and its province. Of these, 52 emerged as contacts of people who were already positive. Another 36 positives come from screening activities. Cases increase by Genoa: today there are 54 more, while the new positives are contained a Imperia (11 cases) ea Savona (3 almost).
83 are hospitalized
In the province of La Spezia, 83 people are hospitalized in health facilities. Of these, seven are in intensive care. All numbers are provided in the regular bulletin issued by the Region. No new deaths were recorded on Friday, September 18.
The positives currently in La Spezia approach 1000
There are currently 917 people who test positive in La Spezia and its province. It is the most important number of all the provinces of Liguria. Genoa, with 766 current positives, ranks second. The active surveillance of those who have had contact with positive people and therefore run the risk of becoming infected are almost a thousand (there are 917).
