VERONA – Explosion in a house in the Veronetta neighborhood of Verona. 2 people were injured, one seriously serious. The explosion occurred this morning, September 18, 2020, around 8 a.m. in Agec’s accommodation on the ground floor, in via San Giovanni in Valle. The explosion was allegedly due to a gas leak, but it is not yet clear whether or not it was a voluntary gesture by a tenant of the building affected by an eviction that caused the explosion.
The explosion did not cause collapses inside the building, the fire department technicians are carrying out controls to assess the stability of the structure and find out the causes of the event.
