As of Monday, September 21, the methods of distribution of bags for undifferentiated and plastics will change: collection only through the 15 vending machines.
The distribution methods of bags for the collection of unsorted waste and plastic packaging change in the city of Bergamo: The collection of the bags will soon be possible only through the vending machines installed in the city and consequently the bags will no longer be delivered directly to the users or through the administrator of the condominium or cleaning companies..
The novelty will be introduced from Monday, September 21 and progressively in the different areas of the city, ending in mid-November.: in this period 1 will be installed in the city5 automatic coded bag dispensers, which will be combined with each individual user, whose use will therefore be mandatory.
The citizens of Bergamo are gradually receiving a letter signed by the Councilor for the Environment Stefano Zenoni and the Director of Operations of Aprica Renato Pennacchia in which all the news is illustrated: an information brochure is also attached to the letter, as well as – for Non-Resident and Small Business Home Users – A special card to be used to identify yourself at the vending machine. Medium and large companies, in the informative notice, are invited to collect their suitcases, by appointment, at the Aprica headquarters in via Moroni 337.
The 15 vending machines will be located in the following areas:
– Spazio Polaresco (via Polaresco 15),
– Local Police Command (via Coghetti 10),
– Esselunga (via San Bernardino / via Spino), Ecological Platform (via Goltara),
– Family supermarket (via Rampinelli 61),
– Coop (via Autostrada / via Spino),
– Esselunga (Borgo Palazzo 217), Center for the Third Age (through L. Da Vinci 9),
– Esselunga (via Corridoni 30), Lazzaretto (p.le Goisis 6),
– Carrefour (via M. di Savoia 4),
-Funicular (l.go S. Alessandro),
– Dpiù (via Serassi 5/7),
– The Giant (via Bonus 4)
– Bergamo City Council Office Building (piazza Matteotti 3).
Citizens of Bergamo will be able to go, from the date indicated in the letter, to one of these vending machines to collect a first supply of bags:
• 1 roll of 10 semi-transparent bags of 40 liters for the undifferentiated fraction;
•1 roll of 20 yellow bags of 110 liters for the fraction of plastic containers.
The advice is obviously to go to the nearest dealer and avoid meetings.: During the first weeks of distribution, dedicated staff will provide assistance and information to citizens.
For the collection of suitcases by residents it will be necessary to have the Regional Services Card, while for non-resident users or small businesses, as mentioned, the corresponding receipt card is required.
As of next December 1, it will be mandatory to display unsorted waste and plastic containers using exclusively the new coded bags.: Therefore, you are invited to supply new coded bags before that date and, if possible, to return the old undifferentiated bags, which can no longer be used, to the operator present at the vending machine during the first weeks.
In any case, until December 1, it will be possible to continue using the “old” non-coded bags.
The aim of the new system is to further improve selective collection, as well as to facilitate the collection of bags, since they can be collected on the most convenient days and times for the user..
Finally, the advice is to fill them completely so as not to waste them, in order to verify the real annual needs of the families and activities.
