Stefano Feltrin, current holder of the Association ofArnaldo Benvenuti musical institute in Conegliano, on behalf of the entire board of directors, making known the very serious situation that occurred last spring and that now sees Moreno Giust, former president dismissed as the recipient of a complaint as soon as the responsibilities that the association imputes to him have arisen.
THE ACCUSED
In April it was found that Giust was responsible for serious acts of undue diversion of huge financial resources from the bank’s current accounts, which at present, except for possible corrections in pejus, can be quantified at no less than 125 thousand euros – Feltrin knows -. A behavior in clear contrast to the spirit that has always animated the Benvenuti musical institute, for more than fifty years committed to promoting musical culture in the Conegliano area. Once the inevitable bewilderment over such discovery was overcome, the association’s board of directors immediately revoked all the charges and all the powers of the former president Giust, formalizing a complaint against him before the Public Ministry for the crime of embezzlement, entrusted to Dr. Massimo. THE CONSEQUENCES

However, Mayor Chies was one of the first to say that he was available to define deferred recovery plans. A formidable faculty, 150 students and parents cannot afford to pay these debts, especially after this arduous period. Our social, productive and economic fabric has shown a spirit of solidarity and altruism: I appeal to all those who care about our existence to show their support in a tangible way. «We are facing a serious and very unpleasant story. All the solidarity of the municipal administration goes to the Benvenuti musical institute and will receive all the necessary support from the municipality. Fabio Chies, Mayor of Conegliano, was the first to grant the possibility of extending the balance of the debt contracted to the maximum. In fact, the city council advances the rents never paid for the occupation of the office by more than a year, but the will to recover the credits accumulated over time has arrived on time.
