Posing as buyers, they recovered two stolen bikes to sell on the Internet. The owners of the two recovered bicycles have decided to withdraw the complaints in exchange for a formal apology from the two teenagers. It all started in Nembro, where in recent weeks there have been some bicycle thefts against children who attend the oratory. Some parents went to the local police Unione Insieme sul Serio to try to find them and investigations began.

Thanks to recognition elements provided by the owners, the investigations were immediately directed to the web, where stolen bikes are usually immediately put back on the market. Scanned the network and, in particular, the most popular ad portal, immediately. (Which obviously has no relation to the events), we went back to one of the stolen bikes, with photos of the vehicle and the sale price, all in Alzano Lombardo. . The agents, posing as buyers, contacted the seller and, having fixed the price, showed up at his home for the appointment. Upon arrival, the agents found themselves in front of two boys as young as 14, with excellent families behind them.

Two bicycles in total were recovered by the agents of the operation: they had a commercial value of more than 400 euros, but were offered for only 40 euros. The owners of the two recovered bicycles, having received news of the recovery and of those who had carried out the theft, decided to withdraw the complaints in exchange for a formal apology from the minors who must go to the owners and repair their gesture. We advise all bicycle owners – explains the local police commander, Marco Pera – to write down their frame number and every detail can be useful for recognition in the event of theft, because they can be found again ”.
