SITUATION. Once out of the picture the mediterranean hurricane which is acting over the Ionian Sea, much of the continent will remain under the protection of the subtropical anticyclone, which spread across the central Mediterranean, central Europe and part of the north on Friday. The stabilizing action of the anticyclone will also cover part of Italy, where the weather will remain warm and stable in the coming days, although with the tendency to some deterioration more than anything else in the north. In the final part of the week the baric structure of the European chessboard will be characterized byadvance of the Atlantic depression towards the Iberian sector, with some rain reaching part of the northern regions. Here are the details:
WEATHER SATURDAY. The advance of the Atlantic depression towards the Iberian Peninsula will determine a certain increased cloud cover in the northwest for the approach of the most advanced part of a tied front from France, with some rain or showers in the western Alps, especially in the afternoon. In the rest of Italy there will only be an increase in high and stratified cloud cover that will cloud the skies of the Northeast and central regions, especially those of the Tyrrhenian. Good weather in the south, with slight diurnal variability in the Calabrian Apennines. Temperature slightly decreasing in the north and in the upper Tyrrhenian Sea.
SUNDAY OF TIME. From the depression in the vicinity of the Iberian Peninsula it will relax a second disturbance which will determine with rains and downpours that from the western Alps will spread eastward, intensifying in the afternoon, even with some thunderstorms. Between afternoon and night some phenomenon can cross the Piedmontese plain. Clouds are also rising in the center, especially over Sardinia and the north-central Tyrrhenian regions with some afternoon showers in the interior of the island and along the Apennines, the sunniest conditions remain in the south and temperatures rise slightly on the Adriatic side.
