Viterbo – We received and published – 4 confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity were reported, at 11 am, by the Molecular Genetics section of Belcolle to the Coronavirus Operational Team of the ASL of Viterbo.
The latest positivity reports are linked to swabs performed on citizens residing or domiciled in the following municipalities: 1 in Acquapendente, 1 in Vetralla, 1 in Canepina and 1 in Gallese.
Of the cases today, 3 are symptomatic patients of the Belcolle pediatric fast track, 1 presents an epidemiological link with a previously reported case. Furthermore, 2 are hospitalized at the Bambin Gesù in Rome, 2 are convalescing in their own home.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 591 of which 35 are the cases verified in extra Asl structures.
Today the recovery of Covid-19 of 4 patients was communicated to the institutionally competent subjects, having received the report of negativity with respect to two swabs carried out consecutively a few days later.
The negative people reside in the following municipalities: 2 in Monte Romano, 1 in Civita Castellana, 1 in Viterbo.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 3 are hospitalized in the infectious diseases department, 4 are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center, 85 are convalescing at home. The number of negative people rises to 474, 25 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the beginning of the Covid emergency, 25,461 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 213 in the last 24 hours. To date, 298 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 5,098 have completed the isolation period.
The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. As of yesterday, the Belcolle and Civita Castellana analysis laboratories reported 8842 serological tests. Of these, 133 gave a positive result, with a prevalence rate of 1.50%.
