The Department of Prevention, in consideration of the cases that have arisen in recent days in the provinces of Arezzo, Grosseto and Siena, has intensified its close contact tracing activity. This activity has highlighted so far, 17 contacts for the Arezzo cases, two contacts for the Grosseto cases, 13 contacts for the Siena cases who have already been immediately placed in solitary confinement.
At this time, 2,179 people from the Local Health Authority of Southeast Tuscany are already in home isolation, either because of a contact with a known case or because they come from other countries.
There are nine hospitalized at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases of La Misericordia in Grosseto, six at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases and four in Intensive Care at the Hospital San Donato in Arezzo.
Case identification and contact tracing was possible by performing 1914 swabs.
