The “road” of drugs and weapons between Italy and France: 14 arrests. Thus the inaction of a keen member of the ‘Ndrangheta was facilitated

Investigations identified the existence of an active network between Italy, France, Belgium and Holland able to manage “the supply and distribution of weapons (including weapons of war such as Skorpion and AK 47 – Kalashnikov) and drugs between Sgrò and the French suspect, respectively, at the head of the networks operating in Liguria and the French Riviera, with ramifications in Belgium and Holland. All investigations led to the arrest of five people who transported drugs and “censored” the distribution channels, they identify a group of Albanians that supplied cocaine to the criminal circuit. Sgrò, according to investigators and investigators, would have favored the inaction of Filippo Morgante, exponent of the Gallico clan, “attending to his movements, providing him with false identity documents, making properties available even abroad (in France) and supporting him financially.”

Sgrò himself would also have been aided by members of the Gallico clan and the family of Calabrian Magnoli drug dealers assigned to Vallauris in France, to recover a batch of 11 kilos of cocaine stolen by French suspects and supplied by a group of Albanians. Investigations by French researchers have also made it possible to identify properties used for the processing and storage of drugs and to understand money laundering operations thanks to the purchase of goods, luxury properties and commercial activities in France.
