It happened to Savona last June 1, but this morning the carabinieri of the Ligurian city arrested five Italians, all between 22 and 33 years old. The charges of the alleged perpetrators are kidnapping and aggravated injuries. Once again, ten days after the murder of Tail, we learn of an episode in which the pack’s fury was unleashed on a defenseless victim. Fortunately, in this case, the result was different: the 22-year-old, after a few days in the hospital, is now well and has recovered from his injuries. “A case reminiscent of Willy’s, fortunately this time with a better epilogue,” says the new commander of the Savona company, Major Fabio Truddaiu. The detained boys did not provide any particular justification for their behavior ”.

The agression

The attack lasted almost an hour. According to the reconstructions of the investigators, one of the five detainees would have detained the boy near the Savona station. She then dragged him by the hair to a nearby street where she beat him and threatened him with a knife. But he was not finished: the 22-year-old was dragged to a park in the area: the other four members of the pack were waiting for him on the spot. Which unleashed unprecedented violence. According to investigators in the park, the young man was hit with kicks to the head, one, two, who knows how many times. Beaten even when he was already on the ground completely defenseless, until he passed out, causing injuries and a broken cheekbone. The soldiers from the Savona Station arrived at the scene after a report to 112, to provide first aid. The victim was initially hospitalized with a reserved prognosis, but fortunately his conditions allowed him to be discharged from the hospital within a few days, with a 30-day prognosis.

The investigations

The investigations that led to the identification of the five alleged perpetrators of the attacks, identified thanks to the analysis of the video surveillance cameras, began immediately. The videos framed the most prominent phases of the beating and made it possible to trace some witnesses. Later it was learned that the alleged theft of the purse was nothing more than a pretext to attack a victim unable to defend himself. A “bronze fist”, two automatic knives and a truncheon were also seized from those arrested during today’s operation. A dramatically recurring ‘kit’ in herds of bullies.
