This was stated by the director of Russia’s external secret services (SVR) Serghei Naryshkin. “It is a fact that when Alexei Navalny left Russian territory there were no toxins in his body. Therefore, we have many questions for the German side,” Naryshkin was quoted as saying by Interfax.
The Kremlin is also happy if Navalny returns to Russia. “Any citizen of the Russian Federation is free to leave the country and return to Russia. If the health conditions of the citizen of the Russian Federation improve, then of course everyone will be happy,” said spokesman Dmitri Peskov, without mentioning the ‘opponent by name.
