There are 65 new positives in the last 24 hours in Sicily, four more than yesterday. This is what the newsletter of the Ministry of Health reports.

Six of the 65 are migrants, all in the Lampedusa hotspot. Currently the positives are 1,842 people of which 136 hospitalized (compared to 120 yesterday), 16 in intensive care and 1,690 in home isolation. Those healed amount to 3,172, while the deceased are 292: also counted by the Region the elderly who died yesterday in Palermo and anticipated by the Giornale di Sicilia.

Of the 65 new positives, 4 in Agrigento, 9 in Catania, 43 in Palermo of which 6 migrants, 3 in Syracuse, 6 in Trapani. The count also reported two cases, but fewer, in Enna, probably due to an incorrect previous survey.

There are 1,008 coronavirus infections registered in the last 24 hours in Italy, more than 450 less than yesterday but with almost 27 thousand fewer swabs: 72,143 were done on Saturday, 45,309 yesterday. In contrast, the increase in victims doubles in one day: from 7 on Sunday to 14 today, for a total of 35,624 since the beginning of the emergency. Among the Regions, Basilicata is the only one that does not report new cases.
