Passengers on a ship bound for Ischia were identified upon arrival after traveling with a group of tourists to which they belonged. a woman who felt ill in the port of Pozzuoli and was hospitalized with a high fever. The group left Veneto at dawn and arrived on the island by bus for a week’s vacation in a hotel; while traveling down the road the woman began to feel bad and they called an ambulance to help her in the port of Flegre.

Health workers found a body temperature above 37.5 degrees. The bus was still on board but during the crossing the authorities were alerted so that upon arrival in Ischia the 190 passengers on board were identified by the State Police. The results of the tests are awaited to determine if the woman is affected by coronavirus.
