Regarding the situation in the territory, the highest number of cases is registered in the provinces of Reggio Emilia (32), Bologna (21), Parma (21). Ravenna (20), Modena (13) and Cesena (13).

In the province of Reggio Emilia, out of 32 new positives, 2 returned from Sardinia, 4 from abroad (2 from Moldova, 1 from Egypt and 1 from Morocco), 8 cases arose as a result of controls in a social welfare structure, 2 to Through screening activities, 11 are contacts of known outbreaks and 5 cases classified as sporadic.

In the province of Bologna there are 21 new positives, of which 1 return from Sardinia, 2 from abroad (1 from Spain and 1 from Ukraine), 12 are cases attributable to contacts traced in the context of already known outbreaks and 6 classified as sporadic.

In the province of Parma, out of 21 new positives, 1 returned from Moldova, 8 cases attributable to contacts with known outbreaks, 2 arose as a result of screening activities, 1 through pre-hospitalization tests, and 9 sporadic cases.

In Ravenna and its province, of 20 new cases, 2 returned from abroad (Romania and Ukraine), 14 contacts of already known cases, 2 arose after detection activities and 2 were classified as sporadic.

In the province of Modena, out of 13 new positives, 2 returned from abroad (1 from Morocco and 1 from Ukraine), 1 from Sardinia, 6 cases attributable to known outbreaks and 4 classified as sporadic.

In Cesena, of 13 new positives, 12 are attributable to an outbreak in the logistics sector and 1 case is classified as sporadic.

These are the data – verified today at 12 o’clock on the basis of institutional requests – related to the advance of the epidemic in the region.

The swabs made yesterday are 6,114, for a total of 1,025,932. Added to these are 2,042 serological tests.

Active cases, that is, the number of real patients, are 3,939 to date (112 more than those registered yesterday). No deaths.

People in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment, or are asymptomatic, are a total of 3,766 (108 more than yesterday), 95% of active cases. There are 17 patients in intensive care (unchanged since yesterday), while 156 are hospitalized in the other Covid departments (+4).

A total of 25,096 people were recovered (+29 compared to yesterday): 9 “clinically cured”, that is, who were asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection, and 25,087 those declared completely cured because they were negative in two consecutive tests .
