The accident in the center of Bergamo did it all by himself: he was transferred to the Pope John XXIII hospital and underwent surgery.
He was traveling through Borfuro driving an electric scooter when he crashed to the ground, causing trauma to his face and knocking him unconscious. It happened on the night of Friday to Saturday, September 12 around 2.30 in FC, a forty-two-year-old man living in the province.

According to preliminary information, it appears that the man did not see the passage of a sidewalk, falling from the skateboard and ending up on the ground.

Especially after the lockdown, electric scooters are becoming more and more common in the city, but many citizens denounce their dangerousness and improper use of these vehicles, asking for more sanctions and controls: in particular, some neighbors and merchants complain about the fact that many buzz on the sidewalks (where scooters cannot circulate) or get two on a single scooter (also absolutely prohibited).
