Tragedy to Ponso, in the province of Padua: a one-year-old girl, whose identity has not yet been revealed, died after being overwhelmed by grandpa’s car he was doing a reverse maneuver and did not notice the girl’s presence. It is not the first time that an episode of this type has occurred. Only last July a Bari a two-year-old boy died after being hit by the car driven by father. The incident took place in the Roma camp in the Japigia district. The boy was run over during a recoil maneuver carried out by the man, who did not notice the presence of the boy. The boy was rushed to the Di Venere hospital in Bari-Carbonara, but conditions were already desperate when he arrived. Doctors tried to revive him, but the boy did not succeed. There seemed to be no doubt that it was a death, but an autopsy was still ordered.
