stopping as a precaution to disinfect
A well-known hotel in Taormina closed, provisionally, after a Covid case involving an employee of the structure. The property has decided, in agreement with the health authorities, to trigger the closure of the hotel independently and as a precautionary measure. In recent days in Taormina, two other accommodation facilities had decided to stop for a few days after some cases of positivity for Covid.
The positive case found would refer to an employee from Giardini Naxos. The accommodation in question had registered 70% of room occupancy this summer, now the stop comes due to the need to attend a case related to the health emergency.
“Having been found positive about Covid among our employees – says now the owner of the hotel – we have decided to close as a precautionary measure, in consultation with the health authorities, to disinfect. This is to protect customers, staff, and territory. We will reopen in the next few days in conditions of total security ”.
