How do ATA substitutes work for the 2020-2021 academic year?

SUBSTITUTES UNTIL 2020-2021

MIUR CLARIFICATIONS

- for substitutions attributed in hourly segment, that is, with reduced hours (part time), termination hours until reaching ordinary working hours, but only between positions of the same professional profile;
- alternates can leave a clip to accept a whole place, but only if full-time spots were not available at the time the segment was called;
- in case of resignation The sanctions referred to in art. they do not apply to a hiring or non-incorporation proposal. 7 of the Regulations for alternates (Ministerial Decree 13.12.2000, n. 430);
- me residual places of the extraordinary mobility procedure for ex LSU, intended to place candidates in office as of January 1, 2021, are covered by temporary alternates until December 31, 2020;
- In the event that the first period of absence of the holder is followed by one or more periods of additional absence, without a solution of continuity and / or interrupted by a day off and / or a holiday, temporary substitutions are extended regarding the same alternate already in service, with effect from the day following the expiration of the previous contract;
- and fasting a part time (part time) are covered by providing temporary substitutes until the end of the lessons;
- more part-time availability For the same professional profile, ATA staff can contribute to the establishment of full-time positions, even if they are not created in the same school.
SUBJECTS EXCLUDED FROM SHORT SUPPLEMENTS
The administrators they cannot confer brief substitutions to replace temporarily absent ATA staff for staff belonging to the following professional profiles:
- Administrative assistant, except in schools whose staff by law have fewer than three places;
- Technical assistant;
- school assistant, during the first 7 days of absence.
A partial repeal of this prohibition, schools and state educational institutions may confer brief and occasional substitutes to replace absent administrative and technical assistants, beginning from the thirtieth day of absence.
COVID STAFF
With respect to ATA personnel recruited pursuant toMIUR ordinance August 5, 2020 n. 83, which authorizes schools to hire the so-called Covid staff for the 2020-2021 academic year, in order to safely resume teaching activities in presence after the suspension caused by the Coronavirus emergency, the assignments am assimilable all temporary substitutions. In fact, they have legal and economic effect from the start date of the lessons or from the start of the service, and last until the end of the lessons.
The places related to the activated contracts are not available for temporary uses and assignments.
