Covid in Sardinia, the trend of new positives is high: today there are 65, there are four new hospitalizations. Fortunately, there are no new victims linked to the virus and no new entry into intensive care, but there are still 65 new infections in Sardinia. A total of 2,790 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 65 new cases were registered, 46 from screening activities and 19 from suspected diagnosis. The number of victims did not change, 139 in total.
A total of 154,864 swabs were performed, an increase of 2,215 tests compared to the last update. On the other hand, 61 patients are hospitalized (+4 compared to yesterday’s figure), while the number of patients (12) currently in intensive care remains unchanged. There are 1,264 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 1,307 (+14) recovered patients, plus another 7 clinically recovered.
In the territory, of the 2,790 positive cases verified in total, 466 (+6) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 282 (+10) in the south of Sardinia, 143 (+21) in Oristano, 237 (+9 ) in Nuoro, 1,662 (+19) in Sassari.
