Fragile circular workers, substitute teachers, and inadequate ATAs placed on sick leave –

[ad_1]

The Ministry of Education has sent a note to the directors of the schools (nº 1585 of 09-11-2020) with the information related to fragile workers. This is what is expected for substitute teachers and ATA.

You can identify the concept of fragility “in those conditions of the worker’s state of health in the face of pre-existing pathologies that could determine, in case of infection, a more serious or fatal outcome and that can evolve based on new scientific knowledge, both epidemiological and clinical“The age parameter alone is not a sufficient element to define a state of frailty.

If, after signing the employment contract, the worker submits a request to be submitted to health surveillance to the Director and the related procedure is temporarily unsuitable for the position, the worker himself will be put on sick leave, until the term indicated by the sentence of temporary incapacity, in accordance with the contractual provisions in force.

For some ATA personnel profiles, the physician may identify an eligibility to perform only certain tasks in the profile. In this case, the Director will be in charge of arranging the taking of the service, identifying, among those foreseen, the tasks that most adhere to the prescribed health indications of the professional profile in question.
