Prostitution and attempted murder, Operation Bergamo-Brescia

It’s been going on since dawn today an ‘operation of the carabinieri of Bergamo, with the support of colleagues from Brescia and the Romanian police, under the coordination of the Bergamo Prosecutor’s Office, against a group of citizens of Romanian and Albanian origin, in relation to Attempted murder committed on September 2 of last year in Palosco., in the Bergamo area, to the detriment of a citizen originally from the Ivory Coast residing in Bresciano and matured -according to the investigations- in the environments of exploitation and help and complicity of prostitution in the path.

The carabinieri are carrying out several precautionary measures of custody in prison, in charge of so many subjects located in the provinces of Bergamo, Brescia and in the Romanian territory.

On September 2, 2019, an Ivorian citizen was hit by a car as punishment for molesting a prostitute: invest him as protector of the latter. In addition, the responsibilities in the commission of the crimes of exploitation and complicity committed against five young women, all from Eastern European countries, who arrived in Italy forced to the road, with respect to the other detainees, were also established.
