Coronavirus, almost 1,600 new cases of contagion in Italy

There are 1,597 new coronavirus infections in Italy recorded in the last 24 hours, and 10 deaths that bring the total number of victims at 35,587. In the last 24 hours there have been 94,186 swabs, for a total of 9,554,389 since the beginning of the emergency. This is what we read in the bulletin of the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection.

The total discharged / cured is 211,885 (+613), while the total current positives is 35,708 (+974). There are currently 1,836 hospitalized with symptoms, of these 164 are in intensive care, while 33,708 people are in home isolation.

The regions with the highest number of new cases in the last 24 hours are Lombardy (245), Campania (180), Lazio (163), Veneto (147), Liguria (114) and Emilia Romagna (110).
