Four mobile structures with 75 seats each, therefore 300 in total, to be transported, assembled, disassembled and eventually reassembled in areas that the Regions will have to identify in the meantime for a total cost of 54 million euros. This is what is provided in the call published by the office of the high commissioner for the coronavirus emergency Domenico Arcuri for the expression of interest in participating in the negotiated procedure for the temporary availability of four mobile structures for use in intensive care. Turnkey structures complete with all environments, furniture and medical equipment and plant engineering.
Arcuri is “a preliminary market consultation for the acquisition of a report and other technical documentation, as well as for the identification of economic operators interested in submitting offers to acquire availability until December 31 (except extensions) of a series of mobile structures, “the ad reads.
The deadline for expressions of interest has already expired. In addition to providing the fully equipped mobile structure, the interested operators must guarantee its transport, assembly, disassembly and eventual assembly in the indicated areas as well as the maintenance service. Currently in Italy the fixed places of intensive care in hospitals have exceeded 6,500, the goal is to bring them to 8,500 in the next two months. An availability that, for now, allows serene prospects for the 150 hospitalized Covid patients, a figure that has been constantly increasing for six weeks.
