ROME. It did not overcome the impact of the pandemic: a 45-year-old woman threw herself off the balcony in Colli Portuensi yesterday morning. The kindergarten teacher, with a young son, was terrified that she had contracted Covid-19. The desperate gesture does not seem to be attributed to a depressive form, the woman was convinced that she was infected and could not calm down even with the guarantees of the doctor and her husband.
Panic, the idea of not knowing how she could work, drove her to the extreme. The lady, for whom an illness was initially assumed, threw herself from the window of her house on the fifth floor after a sleepless night, during which her partner tried in vain to calm her down. It happened at seven in the morning, the body was discovered by a passerby who raised the alarm. As a fair act, the prosecutor opened a file of instigation to suicide.
