Florence, September 9, 2020 – In the territories covered by the ASL Northwest Tuscany (Massa Carrara, Lucca, Pisa and Livorno provinces) there are 30 positive cases on September 9, to which is added a positive case of resident citizen in another region identified thanks to the controls activated in ports and stations.
In the area of Apuane there are 13 cases in Massa (4), Carrara (8) and Montignoso (1).
A case to Capannori (Lucca), a person who has returned from abroad, while in the Pisan area there are seven cases Pisa city, each other Cascina, two to Capannoli and one for Weather in Casciana Terme Lari.
Finally, the province of Livorno, with four cases a Collesalvetti, hit Livorno, two to Castagneto Carducci and one for Rosignano Marittimo.
Then there is the case of a traveler who resides outside of Tuscany and who cleaned the port of Piombino.
There are 3,505 people healed throughout the company.
They also signed up these days two deaths: an 89-year-old woman Livorno and an 84 year old man Pulp. However, it will be up to the Higher Institute of Health to definitively attribute the deaths to the Coronavirus: in fact, these are people who already had concomitant pathologies.
With respect to hospitalizations for Covid-19, in the Northwest Tuscany Usl hospitals there are a total of 29, of which 4 in intensive care. In the Livorno hospital 10 patients, including 6 from the Livorno area, 3 from the Versilia area and 1 resident outside the ASL. In the Lucca hospital 13 patients, of which 6 from the Lucca territorial area, 6 from the Massa Carrara area and 1 resident outside Asl. In the Apuane 6 hospital the patients, all from the territorial area of Massa Carrara.
Finally, from the daily monitoring, throughout the territory of the Northwest Company of Tuscany, to date there are 1,652 people isolated, under active surveillance, for having had contact with infected people.
