Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte at a press conference with Minister Azzolina said, among other things, that everything happens from school. Antonello Giannelli, president of the ANP, comments the following:
“For months we have been repeating how fundamental the reopening of schools is in the project of restarting our country and we recognize the executive that so far has not been spared. Going into detail, I hope that the issue of medical certifications that families must present to bring absent students back to school, as well as the management of fragile or quarantined personnel who, to continue working, should not be placed in illness “.
Turning to the subject of the distribution of the masks, Giannelli notes that “Many principals have also informed us that the masks delivered so far are only enough for a few days, and must be distributed to students as well and not just to staff.”.
Giannelli goes on to state that “Accurate data on the number of desks actually delivered to schools has not yet been provided: of the few news items that circulate, they appear to be few compared to the total number of more than 2,400,000 units.”.
The PA president concludes: “We can only unite the appeal to teachers and their central role in recovery: with them, students can regain possession of their schools and start living them to the fullest. However, September 14 will be an unforgettable day for our country.“
