Five days after the resumption of lessons in 13 regions (five already applied for and were reopened on September 24), a student from a kindergarten in Piacenza tested positive for the Covid swab. the second case, after that of a child from a nursery school in Pergine Valsugana (Trento) where the quarantine was triggered, which complicates the already complex reorganization of returning to school in a period of health emergency, highlighting (once again) the infection problem at school. The little boy was examined after participating in the insertion for an hour, on September 1, the day of the inauguration, and after a relative tested positive. His condition is not a cause for concern. The creation of bubble classes in kindergarten and the collaboration between parents and the school made it possible to limit the quarantine to only seven of their peers and two teachers and not the entire school.
Reggio Emilia: a positive high school student
A Reggio Emilia student from a city high school also tested positive for Coronavirus. The 15-year-old boy has followed two remedial courses in the last week divided into two days for a total of four hours. With him in the classroom, in addition to the teacher, there were four other students. Although close contacts have not been considered by the Ausl because the rules of distancing are in force in the class, everyone will undergo the swab in the coming days to clear any doubts. The same teacher, already retired for a few days (who had agreed to give remedial lessons anyway), takes the exam. The infected pupil is fine, now in home quarantine, asymptomatic. His positivity stemmed from Ausl’s public hygiene monitoring activity.
