Luco dei Marsi. Accident in Luco dei Marsi, fugitives wanted. The episode took place recently in via Duca degli Abruzzi, at the junction with via Mascagni. According to the first reconstructions, it seems that the driver of the car together with the passenger, both probably Maghrebian citizens, after trying to turn in the direction of Via Mascagni crashing into a house, abandoned the car and fled towards the historic center of the city, in the direction of Santa Maria Borghetto, which leads to the mountain or to the part where Luco’s most foreign citizens live.
The car was traveling at high speed, so much so that the noise was clearly heard from the neighboring houses.
The carabinieri from Luco station intervened at the site to make the findings and clarify what happened. It appears that drugs and a cell phone were also found in the car. The car, a gray Alfa Romeo, was traveling from Trasacco to Avezzano and appears to have been pursued by the carabinieri already from Trasacco.
Fortunately, there were no pedestrians at the time. Now the carabinieri are looking for the driver of the car.
