Apple has finally announced the date on which the new iPhone 12– The event in which the Apple company will unveil the new and long-awaited smartphones will be held in September 15.
The presentation will take place in Apple Park at 10 AM PDT, that is at 19:00 Italian time.
Unsurprisingly, this year’s presentation (and consequently the launch) will be slightly behind tradition: in recent years, the new iPhones have always been presented on Tuesday (or Wednesday) of the second week of September, while that this year the appointment has been postponed a week.

The delay is due to the coronavirus pandemic, which has slowed down the production of the devices. New iPhones usually go on sale Friday of the following week to presentation: If so, we could expect Apple’s new smartphones to be on sale from September 25, but further delays cannot be ruled out.
Recall that the iPhone 12 family will consist of 4 models (names are not confirmed)
- iPhone 12 Mini: displays OLED gives 5.4 ″ and double camera
- iPhone 12: displays OLED gives 6.1 ″ and double camera
- iPhone 12 Pro: displays OLED gives 6.1 ″ and triple camera
- iPhone 12 Pro Max: displays OLED gives 6.7 ″ and triple camera
Finally, it is very likely that this year a new color will be added to those already available: Navy Blue, as is also confirmed by the color of the apple in the hashtag #AppleEvent already launched on Twitter (click on the tweet to see it).
