Everything as expected: between controversies with masks and criticism of the Lombardy Region for the management of the Covid emergency, the motion of censure against Governor Attilio Fontana was finally rejected. With 49 votes against and 29 in favor, while Patrizia Baffi (from Italia Viva) and 5-star Ferdinando Alberti (absent for personal reasons) did not vote. The majority was square around Governor Fontana while the opposition had two fewer votes in a morning characterized above all by controversy and mutual accusations.

At the beginning of the debate, the regional advisers of the Democratic Party wore masks with the words “Enough is enough!” Gesture to which several exponents of the majority responded by wearing masks with prints of pink flamingos, sent – explains the center-right – by the Government to the Region. The scene took place while the leader of the 5 Star Movement Massimo De Rosa, the first signer of the motion, illustrated the text signed by all minorities except Baffi. “The motion of censure is due to its evident inability to manage the Region and, therefore, to protect the health of the Lombards, and sees the entire opposition united, including Italia Viva, although without the knowledge of Councilor Baffi,” he launched the impulse of Rosa. The same five stars staged the protest of the boxes: they brought moving boxes, each one labeled with the name of a regional councilor and the president, to protest the management of the Covid emergency.

Meanwhile, outside the courtroom, the morning had started with another protest and the appearance outside the Pirellone of a poster with the words “Fontana murderer”. To expose it, once again, are the Carc militants who have also raised a banner praising the “People’s Commissary” of the Region. The same Carc who before the summer had claimed a mural against the governor and the mayor in an underpass. And once again the Milan Prosecutor’s Office will open an investigation for threats and defamation that will later be found again with the one already initiated for the mural: the antiterrorist manager Alberto Nobili awaits the information with which Digos will denounce the Carc activists present. to the presidium in view of his inscription in the register of suspects.
