Vaccine: Veneto, experimentation with volunteers began – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – VERONA, 08 SEPT – The experimentation of the Italian anti-Covid vaccine with inoculation in the first six volunteers has begun in Veneto, in the hospital of Verona. They range from an 18-year-old student to a 54-year-old doctor, all from Verona. The first three doses of Grad-Cov2 vaccine had been inoculated into other volunteers last Wednesday in Rome in Spallanzani. The trial is being carried out by the Clinical Research Center of the Borgo Roma Hospital in Verona, as part of the collaboration between the University of Verona and Spallanzani. “If in six months they have not highlighted any contraindications and have produced antibodies against the Coronavirus,” Stefano Milleri, director of the Center, commented in the local press.
